Full-flow filter: It is connected in series between the oil pump and the main oil passage to filter all the lubricating oil entering the main oil passage.

Oil filters are divided into full-flow and split-flow:
Full-flow filter: It is connected in series between the oil pump and the main oil passage to filter all the lubricating oil entering the main oil passage.
Split filter: It is connected in parallel with the main oil passage to filter only part of the lubricating oil sent by the oil pump.
The working principle of the oil filter mainly includes three methods: pure mechanical separation, centrifugal separation and magnetic adsorption:
Pure mechanical separation: through the small holes on the surface of the filter material, the solid particles with a size larger than the small holes are blocked on the outer surface of the filter material.
Centrifugal separation: The oil passes through a high-speed rotating rotor, and the impurities in it are thrown to the inner wall of the rotor by centrifugal force and separated from the oil.
Magnetic adsorption: The iron particles in the oil are adsorbed by permanent magnets to prevent them from circulating back and forth in the oil and harming the parts.
